We operate the Academy as a ministry but manage it as a business. We know childcare is hard on working families, and for that reason, we will always do our best to remain faithful to not increase tuition. Our goal is to reflect the love of Jesus to all families by doing our best to provide the opportunity to give their children a good quality education. Knowing tuition cost makes this nearly impossible, we opened Little Blessings Preschool Academy. 

Abeka Accredidation

There are two main curriculums in preschool education. The first is Montessori, and the second is Abeka. Montessori is a great curriculum, however, anyone can teach it. This is why you have really great Montessori schools, and really horrible ones. In order for someone to use the Abeka curriculum they need to be certified. Abeka is more common in affluent neighborhoods.We thought that every child should have the same opportunity as children that come from fluent families. Thus, we brought the Abeka curriculum to the City of Anaheim for working families.

Stimulating Learning

At LBPA, we offer a Christ centered environment, which allows children to grow in their relationship with God. The children also learn their social skills which helps them develop relationships with their peers.We strive to recognize and meet each child’s needs whether it be social, emotional, spiritual and/ or physical. We provide hands on experiences for the children to learn. They engage in creative activities that requires them to use their 5 senses- seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting & touching.

Meet ourAcademy Director

Roxanne Hernandez has been in the childcare profession for over 17 years. She grew up in church, and found her true calling working with children after many years in Sunday school. She has a true love & compassion working with the little ones. She graduated from Cal State University of Fullerton receiving a B.S. in Child and Adolescence Development.

Roxanne and her husband started this business after college. Roxanne had worked as a private school teacher for schools that charge very high tuition rates. Their daughter had the privilege of receiving free tuition due to Roxanne’s employment at those schools.

They witnessed the impact that music, dance, socialization and a structured curriculum had on her over the years. Their daughter quickly excelled in all areas, so Roxanne felt led to make a quality educational program that would be affordable for other families which is why Little Blessing’s Preschool Academy was created.
